"The cabin was an excellent family vacation in nature. Our kids had a grand time feeding the goats and chickens (which Mary stressed was totally optional for us to do, but they loved it), collecting eggs, exploring the woods, and helping build a fire in the wonderful fireplace."

"This place will far exceed your expectations, period. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is rustic, spacious, warm, private, and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and feature some very friendly goats and chickens. This last part was a highlight since feeding these guys and having fresh eggs in the morning was incredible. The host is very responsive and goes out of her way to prep the fireplace and ensure your comfort. Will definitely try to revisit during the warmer months!"

"We highly recommend this property for a family or couples vacation. My husband and I rented this home to celebrate our first New Years as a married couple. The pictures really don't do it justice - the house is wonderful and well appointed. We found ourselves instantly at home inside the "cabin" and so at ease in the quiet and privacy. The house has an excellent kitchen for cooking, an amazing large stone fireplace that heated the entire living room, a very comfortable master suite and beautiful bathroom...Highly recommended and we are already planning our next trip back!"

"This was everything we thought and more. Wonderful inside space with a huge kitchen and so many stools around the huge island, we spent most of our time in the kitchen. Great outdoor areas for eating and a fire pit for the evenings. Walking trails on the property. The nicest surprise for me was the tray of s'more fixings left...Unexpected and appreciated. We had a great time."

"My one regret is that we didn't book a longer stay. The cabin is beautiful, well laid out and tastefully decorated. It sits in 88 acres of woodland so it is very private. The grounds are well laid out with goats and hens to entertain. Although you could quite easily ignore them if you want to, we had some fun walking the goats. There is lots to do with games to play indoors and outdoors and plenty to explore. It is not so far from civilization either, and there are plenty of day trips available...The whole family loved this property and we would love to come back again."

"Our family spent a wonderful weekend away from the City, enjoying a more natural setting. The cabin was warm and inviting with a beautiful fireplace and large open common space. The kitchen was well equipped for home cooking. And we loved the goats and chickens."
